IT IS OUR ASSOCIATIONS 70th BIRTHDAY IN 2017 AND NEWS FOR 2018
Believe it or not our Association has been in existence now for 70 years and this year we invited all our members to attend a Birthday Celebration evening combined with our annual Honey Show Awards and Beekeeping Exams presentation night on Monday 2nd October 2017, from 7.30pm.
IT WAS A HUGE SUCCCESS ! Gratefull thanks to Steve Shearwood for organising it all and to his lovely wife Dawn for her wonderful vocal performance while enjoyed our supper.
This combination of a great social night with food and enterainment added a previuosly unknown 'sparkle' to our Annual Honey Show & Education Awards presentation.
The Association had agreed to subsidise a hot Buffet at a cost of £5 ( usually £10) per person for members, who may also bring along a guest on the night, for an additional fiver. (Total cost £10).
As we have received nothing but postive comments after the event, it has been decided by the committee that this format becomes a regular every year for our
Annual Honey Show & Education Awards presentatIion.
