This one day introductory is course is designed for those who are considering the possibility of keeping bees in the future.  There is the opportunity to handle live bees and get an insight into the basic knowledge and practices of bee keeping.

 

NOTE: Bee suits will be provided for you to use during the day.  Please wear long trousers and bring wellington or similar boots; and a clean pair of rubber gloves.

 

The cost of the course is £15 per person and includes refreshments only. Children are free, but need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. Remember to bring a packed lunch.
